Established in 1982, Wolky is a Dutch, family-run company. Although the Wolky name was not chosen for its soundalike English word walking, its actual namesake is the Dutch word for cloud, wolk.  Wolky claims people love its shoes because "they’re just like walking on a cloud." Starting first with women’s sandals, Wolky now produces shoes, heels, clogs, boots, slides, moccasins and more for both men and women.
